#Macclesfield My wife and I took my big Sister out for a belated birthday (81st) lunch. Went to an old pub in my home town that's I'd not been to for about 40 years, Ryles Arms. All modern inside, but a great atmosphere and the biggest mixed grill I’ve ever had. It beat me I could not finish it! Saying that none of us finished our meals!

A photo of the back garden at the family home where I grew up. Started off as a sloping field and it was all built manually (shovel, pick, wheelbarrow, etc) by my Dad.
Sadly the entire garden / house we're demolished and turned into waste land when the local council found out there was a reservoir drain under it which needed moving. The only happy aspect is that my parent has passed on and the house had ben sold to another owner when it was all discovered.
