This afternoon's Hawks v Railer Express game was sort of the opposite of the first meeting between them -- with the latter coming out on top in a 4-0 shutout performance. The Hawks had several decent chances but just couldn't get them in.
They're now up against the wall, needing three straight wins to make it through to play The Riels in the final.
Impressive 410$ 50/50 pot today.

Colour photo from inside Ed Golding Arena during game four of the MMJHL series E semifinal playoff as the Charleswood Hawks were battling the Transcona Railer Express in the third period. The Express were up three to nothing at this point, with 12:40 remaining on the scoreboard. We can see Hawks #22 Anthony Jacob in the near left corner bearing over an Express player as they jostle for position and the puck. Two other Hawks skaters are looking on, as well as their goaltender who is in his crease. Another Express player is laying on the ice a little further clockwise up the boards. There is also one of the referees along the boards in a counterclockwise position. There are dozens of spectators around the outside portion of the boards and glass, as well as in the viewing stands, which is where this photo's vantage point is from -- on the top level. The area above the glass is enclosed in a transparent mesh screen, which helps reduce the chances of flying pucks entering the seating areas. One further note: along the top of the wall where the scoreboard is in the end, are a series of flags. We see one for Canada on the left, then on the other side of the scoreboard is one for the Province of Manitoba, and to its right, one for the City of Winnipeg. Between the Canadian Flag and the scoreboard is a mostly empty space, aside from a few strips of black velcro that once held another flag. Since it's not there, I will say nothing further.
