@ChrisMayLA6 @Thebratdragon 2/ The law and the judiciary are 'obliged' to disregard the moral or ethical reasons behind a 'gathering of 6 persons or more for the purposes of political protest'. How they'd have dealt with the anti-apartheid rallies and the poll tax protest doesn't bear thinking about. We are visibly moving towards a totalitarian state. #Farage and #Reform must be rubbing their hands with glee.

Labour's enablement of the far right

A decent aerticle (they normally are) from Mombiot. In aping Reform and yhr Tories, Labour are enabling them. Just as well when they promised 'change' they were not prepared to define what is meant. Trading Standards might have been after them, rather than just people who despise their policies.

Die hessische Regierung will eine Reform umsetzen, die kleine Parteien benachteiligt und Bürger:innenbeteiligungen einschränkt. Die Pläne umfassen u. a. ein neues Auszählverfahren namens d’Hondt, das große Parteien stärkt (siehe: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%E2%80%).
Zudem sollen Bürger*innenbegehren eingeschränkt werden.

Es wird ein weiter so, ett-iss-noch-immer-jot-jegange des alten bundesrepublikanischen Trotts werden: stahlbasierte #Industrie und #Autos sind die Götter, #Frauen kochen, Hauptsache der #Grill läuft...

It’s as plain as a f*cking pikestaff that political non-entity #KidStarver’s Liberal/ Centrist/ Elite Labour Party are creating the conditions for the FarRight to take power (or at least gain a large number of parliamentary seats) at the next election!
