If someone is saying they know a DDoS is coming from and that it’s from a single country - but they keep getting dossed… they are probably lying.

It’s not common or easy to attribute outside of where someone says: I’m going to DoS you….

And then does it at the time/date they say etc.

But also you have to remember that http packets have lots of user defined data and things like:
Rotating proxies
Botnets
VPNs
Compromised devices/infra

All make attribution harder/sometimes impossible

God Twitter is full of terrible takes on this 😆😆😆😆
