Logging Native Forests in Victoria to end by 1 January 2024, saving 14 million tonnes of carbon by 2030, ensuring Melbourne's water quality, reducing bushfire threat, ensuring endangered species habitat.

Announced today by Premier Dan Andrews as part of Victorian budget. Brings the end to logging target forward from 2030 to 2024.
