After almost 15 years, I've recently been diving into #WorldOfWarcraft server emulation again and it's still pretty interesting. In particular, reading about all the formats on https://wowdev.wiki is much more interesting now that I actually understand everything.
This community (in particular the German forum darkwow.de) is what got me into programming initially, so I'm delighted to see it's still alive and well. Bonus nostalgia that it's all #WotLK focused.

Started playing #wotlk classic the other day, today husband joined me. I was level ten and got to be his paladin bodyguard while he leveled a mage. I made 100gp today from selling copper bars and a rando gave me 50gp while I was running thru ironforge. Nice! Trying to pay it forward by giving away linen bags to lowbies whenever I use my cloth. Im not a huge classic fan but I do like that the game feels more friendly and that the crafting you can do actually feels useful.
