From Evidence to Extremism: How Our City Council Failed Us
We discuss the worrying trend of our local political leaders making public policy decisions based on bad science, conspiracy theories, and personal agendas. Actively ignoring the will of their constituents. Their most recent move in this vein was to vote to remove the fluoride from our municipal water supply here in Aberdeen. This will negatively impact public health in a place with already abysmal health stats. It will also primarily harm those who are already marginalized and vulnerable such as the poor in our City. This may seem like small potatoes, but this City Council has been actively harming residents of this City for years now, it is time to consider what can be done to counter this destructive institution.

Come and join us on January 25th at the Historical Seaport on Aberdeen’s south side. Doors open at 4:30 and music starts at 5. Tickets at the door are $12 suggested, but as always this event is NOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds). We have a fun night planned with the following bands playing:
