#AirTags

One thing I really, really like about Apple airtags (which I require, with my memory issues), is that I can change the battery easily. With my tremors, that's no mean feat.

(Hey, is the Apple tag mainly used for the fruit, or the company?)

I've been using #airtags since they came out. They work well. Batteries last over a year, are a little puzzling the first time you try to change one, but otherwise... they just work.

I have one on each of my two keyrings because I tend to abandon them on the first flat surface I walk by when I get home, and Find My locates them quickly.

They do get separation anxiety if you forget your iPhone and they get too far from it... but they shut up quickly and stay quiet after that.

Only complaint... the noise they make to help find them is absolutely lame and useless beyond 5' if they don't have a fresh battery.

Bit weird but here's a quick summary of my conversation with Llama3.2-vision: "We dug into AirTags and their connection to German culture. Initially, LLM had no idea what to say! But then it managed to stretch it: Apple has a presence in Germany, German companies use AirTags for tracking, and the device reflects German values of orderliness and precision #AirTags #GermanCulture #CreativeThinking"

Even when I’m on holidays, I somehow end up working. This was why the Motorola Moto Tags went to Japan with me, so I could test them head-to-head with Apple’s AirTags and Tile Trackers while trying not to lose my luggage. Here’s my full written and video reviews!
