It is hard to understand the idea that we should switch from Biden to Harris. Kamala Harris is very unpopular with Hillary-esque high negatives and she MAY be, could POSSIBLY be ALMOST even with Trump. Whose idea of a pathway to success is that?!

A couple days ago, while discussing Biden's plight on cable news, a split screen was still running, with the Biden discussion on the right and Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina giving a spirited speech to the left. Cooper looked to be a fantastically better choice than either Biden or Harris. For just one example.

Our presidential and vice-presidential candidates are profoundly unpopular.

Before the debate debacle, Biden was losing in the polls to the most profoundly despised politician in America.

An overwhelming number of Americans think Biden is too old to serve a second term and his debate performance seemed to prove it. It played right into the "too old" main argument against him.

Biden has alienated huge numbers of young eligible voters who we desperately need.

Biden has infuriated Arab-Americans and the huge number of people of every description who sympathize with and support Palestinians. Americans everywhere are deriding him as "Genocide Joe."

The vast majority of "Republicans" are merrily marching in lock-step behind Trump.

What could possibly go wrong?!
