Morning Mastheads, still working on the good part. Unfortunately I woke up this morning with a hurting heart. Last night I got into it with a #MAGA acquaintance who was utterly and, I fear, purposefully ignorant. In their reality, #Trump and #Musk were modernday superheroes saving #America from the evil leftist Marxist radical leftists. And now he’s going after the #Smithsonian because of what he calls unAmerican ideology. Gosh, I wonder what he’s driving at. Operation Whitewash continues apace. And as an added bonus, he seems to want to rehabilitate the #Confederacy again. It wouldn’t surprise me if someone attempted to establish a moral equivalence between the #Jan6 criminals and the Confederate rebels. What a great time to be alive! #snark
