Today I built this #ebike #pedelec charging station thing. A spring balancer allows storing it at the ceiling or pulling it down to the bike to charge it. This is such a huge improvement.

Weiß eins von euch, wie gut / effizient / sinnnvoll es ist, ein Singlespeed-Bike mit einem "eBike-Nachrüstsatz" auszustatten?

ZB durch ein Hinterrad, in das ein Nabenmotor eingebaut ist.

Oder es gibt ein System, bei dem eine Rolle von oben auf das Hinterrad drückt und es darüber antreibt (weiß nur den Namen davon nicht).

Sinnvoll, oder ggf. doch lieber zu einem "richtigen" eBike greifen?

Just last week, I got my first bike with disc brakes.

I'm wondering how often these discs get smashed beyond the point where they can be bent back into shape, and how prepared I should be for that possibility. Assuming that I don't take this bike onto rough trails, I mean.

It looks like the rear disc on my Ride1Up Roadster V3 attaches directly to the motorized hub, so it has wider-spaced bolt holes than the front disc. I'm not sure where I'd source a replacement.

I can’t get the Yepp seat off of my tern. It’s not locked it’s just seized? I think? Anyone have this problem and succeed at removing it??

Can anyone recommend a place in the #Boston area that does bike maintenance lessons and will let you use an #ebike? Wanted to do Broadway Bike School but they won't let me bring my e-bike even with the battery removed. :(

Figuring out Hailong battery pack fittings is nightmare. I may as well buy another complete unit.

Mine's a Hailong 1.2, as distinct from the 1 (shorter),2, max and poly, although I've not seen a 1-2 with a two pin configuration, rather a four or five pin setup.

1001 miles (1611km) on the ebike! And most of that is to work or groceries, completely replacing car trips. Here's to another 1k.

This does not surprise me. Poor battery quality seems to plague e-bikes with after market kits (and others). BUT there is a failure in relation of the sellers - Amazon and Ebay sell this risky shit all the time with no come back. Maybe they should be forced to take responsibility - and that includes criminal liability.
