“ACCEPTTHIS” is a well known street artist in the scene. This stencil head of ‘good old Kurt Cobain’ is glued to a wall at the NDSM-Wharf. 🎸🤘

The “NDSM” as a creative hub (turning into another suburb fast) still has some of its dark glamour, and is known for its impressive street art collection. The area draws artists from around the world, adding to its dynamic and evolving atmosphere. 🖼️ 🎨 🧑🏼‍🎨

This work ‘breathes’ the style of the old master Rembrandt, not in the last place because of the use of the same techniques in light and dark. ⚪️⚫️🎨

It’s an eye-catching appearance painted on a small generator house at NDSM-Plein. 🔋⚡️ …might be there, might be gone already due to the temporary state of the art. 🖼️

The responsible artist is Donovan Spaanstra, who also has three of his works hanging as a part of the permanent collection of the “Amsterdam Museum”. 🏛️

On the right side the old master himself hints on visiting the museum more often. 👍

Justin K, better known as Justin Neurd, is a Dutch street artist who works under the name “Neurd” (not to be confused with ‘Nerd’ 😅).

His graffiti and street art can be found in various locations throughout the city, such as, in this case, the NDSM Wharf. ⛵️
