In reality, these smear and disinformation campaigns are nothing new to Syria. Syrian Muslims have long been the victims over the past decades, yet no one spoke about the terrorism of the deposed Ba'athist regime except in rare cases and due to geopolitical interests. But when the Syrian #Muslim people reached power through their blood and sacrifices, suddenly, everyone became aware of human rights and the protection of minorities—one of the main reasons behind Syria’s destruction.
Playing the minority card, claiming their oppression, and turning the oppressor into the victim is a worn-out farce that even those spreading these lies do not believe themselves. Simply put, no one wants a united, stable Syria with a Muslim government that represents the overwhelming majority of the people—not the U.S., not Israel, not Russia, not Iran, not Egypt, not the UAE, not Iraq, not the European Union, nor anyone else.
Western imperialism, Russia's hypocritical maneuvering, and Persian interference in Syrian affairs are blatant violations of Syrian sovereignty and breaches of international law. But wait a minute! In this hypocritical and deceitful world, sovereignty belongs to the strongest, not to those who follow the law—laws that exist merely to deceive and manipulate poor nations.
