Palacio da Bacalhoa is a former property of the Portuguese Royal House and is also known as Albuquerques Palace. Established and built in 1442, it is considered the most beautiful farm from the first half of the 16th century still existing in #portugal

In 1936, it was purchased and restored by American Orlena Scoville. Her grandson took on the mission of making the estate one of the largest wine producers in Portugal.

Currently, the #palacio and #vineyards belong to the Berardo Foundation.
