My performance at Tribally Yours in 2007. I was in the midst of a terrible asthma attack throughout this performance, and no one had a clue because the show must go on. I was barely breathing the entire time. When I got off stage, I basically collapsed. The smoke machine at the venue is what triggered it. I remember that I could barely walk afterwards for days. I had to take a bunch of time off work to recover. If I had known the venue was using fog machines, I wouldn’t have gone to this event. I wish places would advertise that kind of stuff.
