This platform feels both old and new. I’m still on Twitter, but I have little hope for it, so I’m exploring this community.

Social worker in clinical practice since 2005. BSW at University of Manitoba. MSW at Wilfred Laurier University.

Focused on trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, anti-racist clinical work.

Provide therapy through private practice.

Provide training on compassion fatigue/moral injury and burnout prevention through my company, Caring Safely.

Teach BSW + MSW students at University of Calgary.

I’ll toot about mental health, academia, social justice, social work, science, democracy, climate change, dogs, hockey, tennis and baseball.

Currently in Alberta, but I’m a Manitoban at heart and deeply miss Ontario. Extremely cautious about Covid.
