Somehow we have over twenty events in the next six months, and seem to still be feeling keen and saying “yes” to anything that doesn’t clash!
Maybe we *do* want Morris to take over our lives - actions speak louder than words.
@OccasionalDucks this sounds like us and #bellringing (only we start at the once a week end of the scale and move up from there).
Yes, we practice once a week all year ’round, as our baseline (some sides only practice October to April) - and in fairness some of the events are performing in place of practice. And we have at least one current and one ex-campanologist in the Morris side!
@OccasionalDucks do you ever liken morris to bellringing? When we're talking to non-ringers we'll often say its a bit like Morris - a bit niche, specifically English, traditional. More people have heard of Morris than change-ringing though!
We’ve been known to, when it seems appropriate to the MoP’s likely comprehension. Not frequently, but sometimes.
