Gotta admit that was the most ... realistic ... cat suit at Monday's #MetGala I've ever seen. The lucky (or not) wearer of the ultimate cat suit was actor Jared Leto--someone who I wrote off decades ago as a vapid teenybopper idol (he was in 'My So-Called Life,' after all) but has actually done some interesting stuff in adulthood.

The suit was based on Choupette, the kitty companion of the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who allegedly left the feline a $1.6 mn inheritance. And yes, I know, by some accounts Lagerfeld was odious ... and maybe eccentric if he left millions of dollars to his ... cat.

I mean, is it for Choupette's care, feeding, and whatnot, or does Choupette whip out the gold card in her little paws and go shopping? I mean, it's awesome that Lagerfeld obviously loved his cat that much, but to leave it $1.6 mn?
