Hi Fedi, help with Mac testing needed! :apple_inc:

I recently opened a PR for FontForge (github.com/fontforge/fontforge), which introduces a GTK3-based UI in a very limited manner.

If you have a Mac and a bit of spare time, I would be really grateful to receive some feedback on its performance on macOS.

@GettingThingsGNOME @nekohayo I wanted to ask you about the status of #GTG 0.7 with the new core and #GTK4. Is the release still far away or rather close? The last comment on the related issue [1] was almost a year ago and it did not seem not to be too far away then. Thanks!

I'm absolutely stuck on Windows building #Gtk GResource source into a CPP project.

Is anyone an expert?

The problem is that including the code causes MINGW gcc linker to delete the entire of the rest of the project except for the gresource souce, so it obviously won't link with everything missing.

I have no idea why gnu would choose to destroy everything. I would have preferred a build error.

(it doesn't help I don't have a windows machine)

Help me fedi, you're my only hope!
