Good morning. Partly sunny today in Central Illinois with highs in the lower 50s. Showers and thunderstorms move in after 10 pm tonight.
The bass fishing club that I belonged to would kick off the fishing season the first full weekend of April. We'd head to central Illinois lakes looking for a little warmer water and theoretically better weather.
I fished on a snow covered boat deck more than once.
