Oof, this was harder than I thought!
I definitely learned a few lessons here. I made like 4 test prints on scrap paper, 1 on a different paper to test and 18 on the intended paper in about 3 hours 😅
And not all of them are good. Some had way too much ink and some are splotchy. I will take a closer look tomorrow. For now the prints are drying and I'll go to bed.

Lino printing plate vs. proof on scrap paper.
It should get blacker during the next passes. But for now I will stop here since I need to do my chores too. 😂
I could do the cutting all day long, it's so fun and relaxing. I'm happy with the result.
I wonder if I should keep the plate as it is or clean it though. I think I will print tomorrow.
Still wondering how many prints I should make.

Printing plate on top and a print of it on the bottom. A crow against a background of hills and a sark sky. I used black ink but the print isn't fully dark yet, the linoleum seems to drink a bunch if the ink.

I sketched this out yesterday and dreamed of crows last night. The last linocut I made was in school.

Very detailed linocut of the angel Aziraphale. "Errrr ...gaveitaway" is written next to his down turned head. He has super detailed wings and a halo. This is my frame for the #EveryFrameOfEden project.
