I have just booked a 4 night break in #Munich, #Germany in May. I plan to see the sights and meet up with #Moodle friends.

I researched flights and hotels online to narrow down the possibilities. I then contacted my local small travel agency with the details and a maximum budget.

By the end of the day I had booked with them for significantly under my budget and will be staying at a hotel I had not previously discovered. There is no substitute for advice from experienced humans.

🇩🇪 Bei unserem 203. Parkrun gestern war es kalt und nass. Es war kein Problem zu laufen, die Freiwilligen hätten sich wahrscheinlich wärmeres Wetter gewünscht. Doch am Ende wirkte die parkrun-Magie und alle waren froh, dabei gewesen zu sein!

Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Richard, unseren Co-Event Director, der gestern seinen 100. Parkrun als Freiwilliger gefeiert hat!

Vielen Dank an Claudia und ihr Team von Freiwilligen, die trotz des Wetters einen tollen Parkrun organisiert haben!

🇬🇧 It was cold and wet at our 203rd parkrun yesterday. It wasn't a problem to run, but the volunteers probably would have liked warmer weather. But in the end, the parkrun magic worked and everyone was happy to be there!

Congratulations to Richard, our Co-Event Director, who celebrated his 100th parkrun as a volunteer yesterday!

Many thanks to Claudia and her team of volunteers for organising a great parkrun despite the weather!

The SAP Garden in Munich, Germany during sunrise on a sunny Spring morning. It is the home of the hockey club "EHC Red Bull München". The arena can house 10796 people during a hockey match. The roof has 13.094 m² and the main building measures 29 metres from the ice surface to ceiling. This would accommodate the Munich Siegestor and its quadriga.
