ReflektorBroilers (Sammy Amara)In dieser Folge spricht Jan Müller mit Sammy Amara, dem Sänger und Gitarristen der Broilers. Die Düsseldorfer Gruppe gründete sich 1992 als Oi-Band. Das lässt sich auch schon leicht an dem OI im Bandnamen erkennen. Das allein war für Jan schon Grund genug Sammy für ein Gespräch einzuladen, denn die Skinhead-Jugendkultur ist eine oft missverstandene und womöglich die komplizierteste, facettenreichste Jugendkultur überhaupt. Und um so interessanter ist außerdem, dass Sammy dem Klischee, das man über Skinheads vielleicht im Kopf hat, wenig entspricht. Nicht zuletzt haben sich die Broilers künstlerisch sehr weit von ihren Ursprüngen wegbewegt ohne sie zu vergessen. Eine treue Anhängerschaft begleitet sie in ihrer Entwicklung. Obwohl die Texte der Broilers Schwierigkeiten und Probleme, die das Leben mit sich bringt, nicht aussparen, ist das Auffälligste in ihrer Musik eine ungemein positive Ausstrahlung - und die spiegelt besonders ihr Frontmann wieder: Sammy Amara. Il y a 2 ans jour pour jour aujourd'hui, on sortait notre premier album éponyme, et c'est une belle occasion de vous annoncer la sortie du second.
Il sera certainement disponible bien avant cette date mais tenions à organiser un bel évènement à la maison pour fêter ça.
