Cyclists are probably doing 40km on a cobbled section so a full water bottle in the face is a much bigger deal than it looks like. The cyclists know how to crash when they anticipate what is happening. Getting a bottle straight in the face leads to out of control crashing. Add in cobbles and it is pure evil to hit one of them in the face with a bottle. #parisroubaix #vanderpoel This is unacceptable in this sport. In #France is a pleasure to be a spectator at the side of the road, but I would not be happy if I saw this behaviour against a cyclist. They have enough crazy things to avoid during a race.
