What do think these birds are doing?

They were perched in the high branches of these tall trees, many of them with their wings spread wide. There is no sun for them to be getting any warmth from, just overcast daylight. There were several doing this, flying off again and then coming back to do the same again. I think they are crows or ravens, though at first I thought they might be bald eagles.
EDIT: Comments have shown us they are turkey vultures

One time in college, a couple friends of mine got into a discussion over whether it was “take a shower” or “grab a shower.” The grab guy stated that taking something meant you … took it with you, something you don’t do with a shower. But the take guy countered asking if you “take a [crude word for Number 2]” or “grab a [crude word for Number 2]?”
As far as I know, it was never resolved. You’re thoughts?

Dis mastonaute si tu as un laptop framework 13 pouces diy, est ce que tu pourrais me dire si tu en es content en terme de solidité et de modularité.
Je m'interroge notamment sur la fermeture aimantée (oui je sais il y'a 5 vis en plus).
Aussi est ce que c'est vraiment si facile que cela à monter et à upgrader ? (J'ai déjà changé RAM, DD et clavier sur un thinkpad hein).

Enfin bref je suis preneur de tout retour sur les laptop framework.

So how does one become a political influencer anyway? I have a message I'd like to spread, so how do those Tate and Vaush guys do it? Did they just yell into the void until people started listening? #astro #question This object was just passing over Brno (21:00-21:03 CET) from NWW to SEE. It started as a small butterfly from light - I thought about some kind of halo around a bright star. But it was moving in satellite speed, and the halo was rotating and growing. Photos are bad because it is from phone.
