Digging is a lot more satisfying in #DwarfFortress than it is in #Rimworld

I just finished building the ship, but haven't started powering it up yet.

I wonder if my turret tunnel is enough to get this ship off the ground...

Recently obtained a key for Rimworld thanks for a friend, and noticed it popped up on the "Great On Deck" section of my Legion Go, so thought I'd give it a red hot go.

It is not, indeed, Great On Deck.

Well, my #Rimworld colony was going really well. Then I sent a caravan that got ambushed, and my shooter Frank was too slow—the ambusher closed to melee range and he was captured. I sent another caravan to try to buy him back but they didn't find him, so I let them go try to free a prisoner. The two I sent got captured and so did the prisoner I freed.

Le sigh.

Well shit, my third colonist, who was my psycaster and climbing the ladder with a powerful group, died from a wild boar attack and gut worms He was also my best shooter and researcher.

We had a heartwarming funeral, but with two colonists, one prisoner, and starving animals, things are looking grim.

Oops, I accidentally saw #Rimworld in my GOG library and then I reinstalled it and now it's 12 hours later.

pfff i slaughtered my muffalo herd because a toxic fallout event happened and i thought it'd last a while and my animals would starve

it lasted like three days. lmao. they would've been fine. oh well
