For almost all of us who missed it, SurrealEstate S3 premieres today at 10 pm EDT in North America.

It’s a great little spooky sci-fi horror show with a great, diverse cast. Just the quirky Canadian thing to wryly lighten our viewing.

Who starts promoting a season premiere the week it takes place?!!

(No, an ‘AOL exclusive’ and a Syfy blog page a month ahead isn’t getting the word out.)

I’ve been waiting for this for a year with no updates from either CTV or Syfy. One would think they wished the show would fail…

But it shouldn’t. It deserves all its viewership and fans in North America, Latin America and Europe.

Syfy/Netflix - 2/3 seasons (ongoing), 26/34 episodes, 44 minutes each

Marooned on Earth, an alien disguised as a human has to investigate a small town’s murder to maintain his cover.

The vibe the show gives off is if “The X-Files” and “Twin Peaks” had a child that went into comedy to spite its parents.
Incredible funny between bonkers dialogue and a terrific cast; first and foremost a hilarious Alan Tudyk.

Rating: B

The Ark continues to be a surprisingly durable entry into the genre of aspirational science fiction shows!

Season 3 is greenlit, to be released in 2026. Sounds like Dean Devlin has succeeded in convincing NBCUniversal that what’s come so far is really just the prequel.

Calling out to all those interested in watching/rewatching seasons 1 & 2.

I was looking forward to this. Saw it last week and it was so disappointing.

Yeoh's character is great because of snark, malevolence and plots. Deliciously wicked. Here, they turn her into a watered-down action figure (she's small and 60!). Bleh. So-so plot. Destroyed her character vibe. Epic fail.

Good Morning #Canada

#HappyBirthday to two of Canada’s most famous astronauts. Lorne Green, born in Ottawa in 1915, commanded the fleet in Battlestar Galactica. Michael Ironside, born 1950 in Toronto, went from a fighter pilot in Top Gun to a secret agent on Mars in Total Recall and then a Lieutenant shooting bugs in Starship Troopers. Green's space experience was notable as he was running a ranch with his sons just 20 years before.
