I started watching and I can understand why some reviews are so negative. Yes, the show is beautifully shot and you really do feel like you are immersed in the setting.

Except it literally feels like I’m watching a play-by-play of various scenes of the cartoon instead of a cohesive narrative to propel the story. I feel like I am watching a clip show. So much so that I am having difficulty finishing the first episode and do you know how bummed out that makes me feel?
