This is a great film for fans of Stanley Kubrick's creepy and famously difficult to interpret ghost story film, THE SHINING (1980). I knew some interiors were built rather than being filmed on location, but I didn't realize the extent. Knowing a bit about Kubrick and his methods, this does not surprise me. He was a true visionary who loved having total control and time to get it right.

Re-watching #TheShining (1980), after many years, after seeing a key scene devoted to the movie in #ReadyPlayerOne (2018).
Just started watching it but it's still as creepy as I remembered it.
