Flashback to January 2022, hiking in fresh snow and seeing something move. Took a fair bit of standing still before I saw it again, it would weave in and out of nooks, as if looking for “snacks” that were snoozing.

jumble of branches covered in snow on top of snow covered ground. But some of the snow has eyes and a little nose and is looking at you to assess its next move before slinking away or carrying on with what it is doing.
White weasel almost blending into the snow completely comes out of a cave (whose??) to head somewhere else, it is stretched out long and beyond the eyes and inside of ears, all of it is white except the tip of its tail
weasel slinking up a couple snow covered rocks by6 base of tree, it’s an open area so movements are quick and from one safe spot to the next, there are owls in this area
