Remember those branches from my apple tree, that I put in a vase after pruning? I have apple blossom now!

Last week I did some pruning in my garden. I removed these branches from my apple tree, and was tipped by a colleague to put them in a vase. They're developing green tips! So, hopefully, I will also see some apple blossom later on

Auf dem Bild sieht man einen alten Apfelbaum, der sein Laub schon abgeworfen hat. Es herrscht eine ruhige Abendstimmung. Der Baum mit seinen feinen Ästen hebt sich gegen den Abendhimmel klar ab. Ein Weg kommt von rechts unten ins Bild und verläuft hinter dem Baum in Felder, die im Hintergrund zu sehen sind. Am Horizont sind links noch einige entfernte Bäume zu sehen, rechts kann man Wald erahnen. In der Ferne sieht man noch einen Höhenzug der Eifel.

@Rasta Hope it does. Sounds like everything's firing on all cylinders there!

We moved houses recently, and left my fifteen year old from-seed #appleTree behind in the yard, which flowers nicely each year, but just produced little inedible apples and rarely. lucky it had a single apple this year, which I discovered just as we were moving out. A little take-me-with-you package!

I've got those seeds in the fridge, and I'll try to start them soon. They look plump and ready to go!
