My wife and I went to this last night for her birthday The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening With Cary Elwes.
"The Princess Bride" is my wife's favorite movie and having a chance to watch it on a big screen and also see Cary Elwes is practically a once in a lifetime event, so we did did it.
This is the first real "event" we've been to since March of 2020 and it was practically sold out.

We saw one other person wearing a mask.

I'd like to say we were surprised, but we weren't.

Lots of film stars posting about the fires on insta. #CaryElwes posted dramatic evacuation video, you can see and hear the winds and fire. #PalisadesFire #Malibu. Hopefully they use their voices so that average folks who just lost everything can be aided. All of this is so horrible. As a person who is lucky enough to have survived a simple house fire, this level of neighborhood devastation is horrific. Only those living through it can really know the tragedy.
