Human life may be threatened by the growing use of chemicals in food production and domestic insecticides, a peer said last night. Lord Douglas of Barloch was particularly concerned about DDT. Lord Hailsham, Minister of Science, said, “I do not believe that there is any call for concern about the effects of these chemicals on human health.”

A fossil-free plastics plant could start production in a few years in Belgium - with a technology that is currently used to make plastics from coal. 🌿🧪🏭 #plastics #mto #chemicals #decarbonization
In September last year, A. P. Møller Holding, the largest shareholder of shipping giant 🚢 Maersk, announced the launch of the startup Vioneo. It wants to make plastics from green Methanol. This is, in my view, one of the most interesting developments in industrial decarbonization in recent months. 🧵

Quebec adopts new code to regulate 'forever chemicals' in biosolids
Biosolids are sometimes used as natural fertilizers to provide nutrients for farmland. Quebec will introduce a new code to guarantee the safe recovery of these materials to reduce environmental and health risks.

New-to-me, from Food Packaging Forum: FCCmigex database receives update . “On March 12, 2025, the Food Packaging Forum’s Database on Migrating and Extractable Food Contact Chemicals (FCCmigex) received an update identifying 1,060 new chemicals present in or migrating from food packaging and other food contact articles.” I wasn’t clear on what food contact materials are, but the European […]

Italy and Spain back France’s plan to rescue EU chemicals industry.

A ‘critical chemicals act’ would keep the production of key molecules on EU soil, countries argue.

The call builds momentum behind France’s original proposal, obtained by POLITICO last month, which called on the European Union to declare about 15 key chemical compounds “strategic.”

4Z-0T, "Azot"

Azot is a chemical weapon, designed and experienced with by EvoWorks scientist in the "Chemical Sector". The laboratory he was made in, is located near Anchorage in Alaska.
Scientist experienced the use of nitrogen as some kind of weaponry. A cryo-blaster, freeze ray, etc. At last it was speculated what effects these nitrogen weapons had, when used by an artificial creature. That's how Azot was created.
turned out that liquid nitrogen would cause more trouble than originally thought. The joints and cyber optics constantly froze, That obviously had to be fixed somehow.
They used a special, secret metallic alloy, which was automatically emitting a high temperature. The scientist combined that artifical body with that alloy, coating important features with it.
This solution was actually a really great success. They infused the new weapons with his arms, while containing some small machine within his back, which would filter out the nitrogen in the air, making it be able to be used by him as ammunition for the experimental weapons.

I like to go in all kind of direction when creating characters. robots, demons, cultists, half-bloods, angels, etc. In his case, i wanted to make a chemical weapon. i don't know why, i was just always fascinated by chemistry lol

The picture was created with AI, all other stuff like lore and design idea came from my head.
