As I may have mentioned before, I'm trying to increase my musical output for 2025 from a song or two a year up to... uhm, more than a song or two a year. To warm up, I decided to do a cover song, so I could see what I could do with some of the new toys I've acquired before getting down to the business of recording a song I've actually written.

Usually I release my songs on Bandcamp, but due to the technicalities of licensing cover songs, I can't share it there. So instead I splattered it all over the various streaming services.

Back in 2019, Out Out & Stoneburner collaborated on a cover of Consolidated's 1994 reproductive rights anthem "Butyric Acid," and put out a public call for remixers, as part of a campaign to raise awareness and funds for ARC (arc-southeast.org). As a fan of all of the artists involved and reproductive rights, I was happy to oblige. Sadly, it's become even more relevant in recent years.
