Just added 5 Unique Automotive, diecast/small scale, pieces to the collection from this past weekend.

Went antiquing over several days, and found these 5 pieces made by F&F Mold & Die out of Ohio. They were part of a series of cars offered by Post Cereal as mail in “rebates” in the 1960s(?). As always here, station wagons rank higher in Uniqueness than the other vehicles offered.

The VehiCROSS is only the third Isuzu in my collection, one of which I made myself. The Rodeo is only an Isuzu because it was originally sold in the US; like the real thing, Matchbox labeled it an Opel, Vauxhall, or Holden in other parts of the world, so it's one of the few Matchbox cars where the make/model are printed instead of being molded into the base. #WeirdCarMastodon #Diecast #164scale #Isuzu

The Hot Wheels E-class wagon adds to a grand tradition in my collection, dating back to that light blue Majorette 300TE, which I've had since 1991 or so. This isn't even all of them—I have something like five other color variations on the Matchbox S123. Only generation missing, which I don't think has been done as a wagon in 1:64, is the W212. #WeirdCarMastodon #Diecast #164scale #Mercedes #Wagon

Been adding a few Unique Automotive Toys to the collection recently.

These two Midget-Marx Cement Mixers, and two ambulances by Matchbox and Corgi were all recently added. The ambulances are great additions to the collection, and the Marx Mixers are really Unique in that I didn’t even know there was a Midget-Marx line of toys until I saw these at an antique store recently.
