"Last week, the #MaineCoalitionForPalestine organized a protest of ICE detention of #ColumbiaUniversity student leader #MahmoudKhalil. Since then, ICE has operated as the #Trump Administration’s #SecretPolice, abducting a growing number of immigrant organizers for exercising their right to #FreeSpeech and protesting the U.S.-sponsored #genocide in #Gaza. The list includes #RumeysaOzturk, #YunseoChung, #BadarKhunSuri, #MomodouTaal, #RanjaniSrinivasan, as well as #farmworker organizer #AlfredoJuarezZerefino. Maine DSA member and Portland District 2 City Councilmember #WesPelletier spoke at the Portland Mahmoud Khalil protest and DSA chapters around New England issued a joint declaration reprinted below against the ICE abduction of Rumeysa Ozturk.

"Yesterday, ICE agents abducted Rumeysa Ozturk, a graduate student and pro-Palestine activist at Tufts.

"The kidnapping comes after almost 400 #ICEArrests in Massachusetts, as well as the #doxxing of Ozturk by the pro-Isreal website #CanaryMission.

"ICE’s abductions—of Ozturk, Khalil, and many others—is an unprecedented attack on basic #CivilRights in the name of U.S. Empire, whether those detained are peaceful #PoliticalActivists or undocumented #migrants seeking safety, jobs, and a better life.

"We must stand up against this brazen attack on #Palestine, #FreeSpeech, and the #RightToProtest.

"We must stand in solidarity with our neighbors and communities under attack from Trump, ICE, and all agents of #imperialism.

Jo, wie gesagt, halbernster Devil's Attorney. Die 3W20-Probe macht definitiv mehr falsch als richtig.

Aber ich mag Ein-Würfel-Systeme überhaupt gar nicht, weil da die Wahrscheinlichkeit so trivial zu berechnen ist. #PTBA und #Splittermond mit den 2 Würfeln gehen gerade noch so, richtig warm werde ich erst bei z. B. #FantasyAGE mit seinen 3W6.

Denn ganz ehrlich, wenn ich nur einen Würfel werfen soll, dann kann ich auch Mensch ärger dich nicht spielen 😉

Ich spiel mal halbernst den Devil's attorney:
Bei #Cthulhu / #BRP stört mich, dass ich so detailliert die Erfolgschance einer Probe abschätzen kann. Bei einem Wert von 57 weiß ich, dass meine Chance bei 57% liegt - das kann ich "in character" nicht abschätzen.

Da gefällt mir 3W20 von #DSA viel besser. Bei 14/14/14 und TaW 8 habe ich bessere Chancen als bei 10/10/10 und TaW 5 - aber wie sieht es bei 16/8/12 und TaW 7 aus? Absolut unberechenbar und damit viel immersiver.

Die meiste Zeit in Besprechungen und bei diplomatischem Geplänkel daneben zu stehen ist jetzt nicht gerade Fynns Geschmack. Aber er sieht halt einfach zu wild aus, mit zu grottigen höfischen Manieren um mehr zu tun als als Söldner bzw. Wachschutz an Rande rumzustehen.

Wer verübelt es einem da, einfach mal ein bisschen durch die Gegend zu schleichen und große Panzerschränke auf ihren Inhalt zu prüfen...? Da muss doch was Spannendes drin sein.

@DXMacGuffin the movement moved towards community building instead. I hear the saying "your job isn't done after you protested." And it's true, there is so much more you can do. Go to local town meetings, call representatives, and join communities like the #dsa

But the most important thing you can do is to rest. Take care of yourself first.

No one is asking or forcing you to do xyz. But the more people that can do a little here, do a little there, can help a lot.

And you know sometimes people don't have time, and sometimes a few dollars here and there can help out, for food banks and orgs as an example.

You sacrificed a lot of connections, and you can get those connections back without losing your political views. If you like to help open others about the contradictions of our current administration. But that's my two cents, you don't have to do that.

@HeyeBodo Ich komme immer noch nicht über diese #DSA Talentproben hinweg. 3x W20 würfeln, schauen wie weit man pro Attribut drunter oder drüber liegt, und das mit den Talentpunkten verrechnen.

Viel umständlicher geht es wirklich nicht mehr. 😦

Ein neues #Digitalministerium ist gut, aber die #BNetzA hätte als zentraler Ansprechpartner für die Digitalwirtschaft ausgebaut werden können. Zuständig für die zentrale Steuerung der Implementierung des Data Act und des Data Governance Act, sowie für die zentrale Aufsicht im Rahmen des #DSA und der KI-Verordnung.

Und um den Interessenkonflikt zwischen IT-Sicherheit und den Interessen der Sicherheitsbehörden zu beseitigen das #BSI aus dem #BMI herauslösen.

"The public deserves to know whether any safeguards exist to prevent temporary staffers from misusing special access to sensitive data to give Musk's companies a leg up in future business." This is exactly what those guys thought would happen if the #gdpr or #dsa went into place. It's like they're breaking their own government in an attempt to demonstrate you can't trust any government.
