I've been working on populating my Art Fight page with the various OCs I've made over the years, and I just made an entry for number 10. I'm really liking this exercise, just drawing a profile picture for them in between other things and slapping it on the site. Here's the more recent entries so far...

A profile picture for Etienne, my werewolf Dislyte OC. He is a white Cajun French man with slightly pointed ears, blonde hair tied into a man bun, long sideburns, and stylized French colonial clothing. He has the keywords "male," "werewolf," "bisexual," "sidekick," and "violent."
A profile picture for the Seadragon, a male mind flayer luchador. He has purple skin, gold eyes with black sclera, four tentacles emerging from where a person's mouth would be, and a red and gold mask with a dragon motif. He has the keywords "male," "illithid," "gay," "wrestler," and "mysterious."
A profile picture for Grufus, a male bugbear bartender. He has brown fur with darker and lighter streaks along the thick and braided sideburns, thick dark brown eyebrows, golden eyes, tusks, and large tufted ears. He has the keywords "male," "bugbear," "asexual," "bartender," and "tired."

Following on the page from 18., some new colors have entered the mix.

My question now is, if acrylic paint is one step away from being awkward ink, is a nib therefore the most excellent small round brush? Is a nib the best painting tool for details? Will I make a second pen set reserved for oil paints?

Wow what is this garbage. Glaring colors in clusters, some stylized words, some smears. Continuing the page from previous art, there are five colors in play, and they have all changed somewhat over time.

13. what is your favorite kind of weather?

This india ink is not as thick as some, and feathers on thin paper. On this cardstock it looks okay!

India inks and acrylic inks both use pigment (vs dyes), for added lightfastness and permanence, as well as greatly increased archival lifespan when decently kept.
Shellac is typically in india inks, while acrylic inks use acrylic binders, I think.
Thick shellac ink would not be good in a fountain pen.

Dodged strife and imagery of a bird, and agriculture themes repeated from previous draws, perhaps.

Goblins are falling! That would be some lousy weather... A few thoughts in sylvin raven condensed and sylvin branch form scripts.
