Raine on Instagram: "Hello, This is a pop-up event about Bootleg Iconography found in Ignorant Street Art, Pop Art & Counter Culture. It tells the story of Re-Fashioning Fashion from the Deliberate Rejection of the Mainstream while chopping & screwing it with a Tomahawk. Similar to Dapper Dan meets Basquiat x Andy Warhol collaborations. Anyways, we’ve discovered along the way that we wanted to fill the room with those that think different about building a brand from nothing and recruiting great people. If you’re actually reading this, then that’s prolly you. We think our ideas are Universoul and could apply to any like minded bidness, or pretty much any organized gang or endeavour. And rather than be weird and secretive and keep all of our ideas to ourselves we thought we should share by inviting you to our parking lot pimping style pop-up. Beau used his day off to go hiking up a mountain to do some #CedarBark #harvesting for more traditional #CoastSalish #weaving work.
He sent me photos as he hiked through the forest. These are just the bark harvest related photos with one fairy slipper orchid wildflower photo - he knows my fave colour is purple 🥰
