I feel like we're all just a big simulation, like The Sims, and the person playing the game keeps trying to come up with more and more whackadoodle ways to fuck with us.

I know because it's exactly what I do with my Sims, all the time. "Let's make the leader a clueless, orange blabber mouth with a piss fetish, and see what happens!"

We are essentially brains in vats, except the vat is the human body. Everything you associate with you, your entire sense of self, your memories, your likes and dislikes, all sit in your brain. We are essentially brains operating biomechanical suits.

It is possible you could sever the connections with your body, and move into an artificial body. Some day, anyways. As long as you keep the brain alive, you are alive.
