Playing in a team tournament in a couple months. Don’t expect to win.
My guard army is only
Deathriders + Lord Marshall
Baneblade + Tech Priest
Basilisk + Artillery Team
So a lot of strategems or army rules don’t apply.
I’m almost certainly spending 1CP a turn to pop smoke on the baneblade.

Finished assembling my death riders, had to take a picture of my cavalry company.
Need to build some characters.
Lots of painting to do.
But I’ve dreamed of having a rough rider company ever since I played a demo game of epic at comic con in the 90s.

Started painting my first squad of death riders. These will probably take 4-5 hours each. I’ve never done horses before, need to try some different recipes and see what I like.
Been making good progress assembling rough riders. Need to make five more before our local apocalypse event Saturday. Won’t have time to paint them, but it’ll be nice to have my army fully assembled.
Minus whatever it’ll take to fix my infantry once the codex drops.
Getting my last units together for my local store’s apocalypse event. 2 down, 18 to go. Not going to be painted for the event, but need to be assembled at least.

The upcoming release of the Imperial Guard Codex plus my local store’s apocalypse event in two weeks has me excited about 40K again. Need to build 20 rough riders to be ready for the event. Will be my last game with the index, I think it arrived the day of the game.

Expect the #Roughriders to continue riding Shawn Bane Jr. as a heavily targeted receiver. Keep an eye on Tevin Jones, who showed flashes of being able to handle a heavy dose of targets. #CFLFantasy
As if the #Roughriders don't have issues at receiver: Derel Walker was placed on the 6-game Injured List (knee), joining Kian Schaffer-Baker and Braden Lenius on the IL. #CFL
Trevor Harris is going to be a gametime decision for Friday's game against the #BlueBombers; if he doesn't go, it looks like Mason Fine would get the start at pivot for the #Roughriders #CFL
