Обедала вчера в португальском ресторанчике: такой, знаете, где мало света, слегка липкие столы, на гарнир картошка с рисом на одной тарелке, а за стойкой - сам хозяин, который Салазара личнокормилпомнит.
За соседним столом - семейная пара.
Им на двоих примерно 170 лет.
На бабушке - завитые букли и жемчуг на шее.
Дедушка - сухой, пергаментный, как реклама крема от пигментных пятен ("вот что с вами будет, если не наносить SPF").
Доедают свой обед с бокалом вина, шлифуют кофеёчком (та самая горькая робуста, от которой пульс, давление и бессонница).
Строят планы на вечер:
- Ну что, поехали теперь в урженсию?
- Нет, недавно были, да и погода хорошая...
- Ладно, тогда пошли гулять.
- Вамуш! Но только на машине!
Хозяин лично провожает их до выхода, обсуждают какие-то бизнес-вопросы, "передайте моему бухгалтеру".
Дедушка трясущимися ручками открывает свой мерседес - едут гулять тихонько, греться на солнышке.
И еще лет десять будут ездить, пока дедушку не разобьет паркинсон и глаукома, пока бабушка получает арендную плату от своих трёх квартир и участка леса.
И спасибо, что в этот раз они поехали гулять не в урженсию!
Чтоб нам так жить в их возрасте...
