Here's the final Soup Log for this Soup Sunday season! We made 21 soups! This was a great experience. I had so much fun. I can't wait for later this year for Soup Sunday season 2!

We made so many good soups. None of them were bad. Some better than others. The only one I had an issue with was the original Chicken and Rice Soup.

Today's Soup Sunday is a revisit to two of my highest rated soups, Chicken Bacon Gnocchi, and Cheddar Bacon Gnocchi. We decided to combine the two! This week's soup is Chicken Bacon Cheddar Gnocchi Soup!

It was so good I had two bowls! The chicken really added a nice flavor to the cheddar bacon flavor. We used rotisserie chicken. It was so good! Combining the two soups was an amazing decision. This is a 10 out of 10 soup!

The final Soup Sunday is here! That doesn't mean the end of making soup. I love soup and I'm sure I'll make it here and there, and I plan on doing Soup Sunday season two later this year. Next week we start New Recipe Saturday! I plan on trying recipes from Pinterest and my cookbooks that I haven't had time to try. I hope you like it as much as Soup Sunday!

Soup accomplished! This chicken and rice soup came out better this time! I made broth with bouillon and my usual spices and herbs, added carrots, celery, and chicken, and cooked the rice separate and added it at the end to prevent mushy rice. The rice was a little bland so I'll season it better next time. Overall a huge improvement. I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10.

Soup is started! I'm so glad to be back in my normal routine and back to cooking. It's been far too long. Happy Soup Sunday! This week I'm doing one of my lower rated soups (chicken and rice 7/10). Next week I was thinking of doing one of my higher rated soups as a finale to Soup Sunday for now.

After I'm done doing Soup Sunday I'm going to do New Meal Saturday where I try recipes I've been too busy to try.

I miss Soup Sunday! I was planning to end Soup Sunday on the 20th since that's the first day of spring and not really soup season anymore, but I wanted to do two more soups before that. However I was sick one week, then in the hospital for 12 days, and I've been recovering the last two Sundays. So my plan is to do Soup Sunday next week and the week after. Then I'll be switching to trying new dinners on Saturdays.

Today is Soup Sunday! I thought I wouldn't be able to taste the soup because I'm sick, but for some reason the soup is one of the only things I can taste.

Today's soup is Crockpot Hashbrown Potato soup. It has everything in I want in a soup. Most importantly, bacon. The potatoes, bacon, carrots, and cheese meld so well together. I put chives in mine. It was so good I had 2 bowls!

I give this soup a 9.5 out of 10!

Soup Sunday accomplished! This is Chicken Tortellini Soup! It's not one of my favorite soups, but it was still good. The tortellini lacked flavor, but it could be because we used our local store brand. Maybe name brand would be better. The rotisserie chicken really made this soup extra tasty! I give this soup a 7.5 out of 10!

Have you ever tried porcini mushrooms? It is not too cold here, but I would love this comforting chickpea and porcini mushroom served with a piece of home baked sourdough.

My sourdough starter was given to me in 2017 in Flagstaff, Arizona, It travelled with me, first to Ohio and now to New Mexico and it is still producing bread a couple of times a week.

Love to all 🖖❤️

This herbaceous Persian Lentil and Bean Soup is coming HARD for the title of my favorite soup this winter! It's absolutely delicious and somehow both bright and light, yet filling and comforting, and I am fully here for it!
