There's an epidemic of #Chikungunya on La Réunion - the first in 8 years, apparently - and 2 people have already died.

Fortunately, there is now a vaccine that's been tried, tested and approved in the US, Canada and the EU. It's an attenuated virus, so there are people it's not suitable for and the side effects, if any, are generally resemble a very mild case of the disease, but don't kill or disable you.
