I don't really dig intros, and that's why this week's is unique. In the grand tradition of fine Scandinavian metal before them, Helsinki, Finland's AZATOTH are a fairly new band. But their EP 'Ungodly Carnage' from 2022 is DRIPPING with slime and rot in under 20 minutes- just how I like it. SUPERBLY putrid stuff.

From the scuzzy solos to yes, the very cool intro (for once!) Azatoth is another up-and-coming death metal band to watch.
