Das Besondere der „jazzklub“-Session #06, die am 26. März 2025 – wie immer im „Pierre Grasse“ – stattfand, war nicht nur die außergewöhnliche Auswahl der Stücke (z.B. ein "Largo" von Telemann), sondern auch die Tatsache, daß zum ersten Mal ausschließlich Mitglieder des @jazzkollektiv Halle e.V. zusammen und miteinander spielten.

Namentlich waren das:

* Vinzenz Wieg – Gitarre

* Jonas Schneider – Drums

und - wie immer:

*Albrecht Brandt - Kontrabass

The kind of question I should have asked long ago: are there other people in the Fediverse who play EUB, or even acoustic upright bass?

Having a series of "oh, now I get it!" moments, and it'd be nice to compare notes with others on this journey.

I just changed piezo pickups on my #doublebass. Took off a Rev Solo, installed a Realist Lifeline. Unlike the last time I tried to do this, I don’t think I’ll have to visit my luthier to fix my mistakes. Bridge is upright and adjusted so both sides are the same height, string height is good, fingerboard-to-bridge distance is even. (Thanks for the bridge stick, Upton Bass!) Now time to practice! #music #bass

Ein Jazz-Trio in einem Jazzklub. Der Drummer (links) hat einen Drumstick im Mund und schlägt mit dem anderen auf die Cymbal. Rechts neben ihm steht ein Kontrabassist, der dem Schlagzeuger zusieht und seinen Kontrabass hält. Rechts davon steht ein Saxophonist und blickt nach unten.
