One more shot from the balcony before we head out to more open sea and the likely loss of this 4G signal. The snow might hide some of the interesting geology of the fjord rock walls but it's a different kind of fascinatingly beautiful.
Norway's Hardangerfjord has not disappointed as a replacement for the Haugesund stop we were due. Glaciers and waterfalls, churches, snow-topped mountains. The fjords are always fabulous.
View from our cabin right now. We're cruising up the Hardangerfjord and will get as far as the Furebergsfossen waterfall before heading back and towards Bergen for tomorrow. The distant mountains are part of the Folgefonna glacier.
