Note that Sen Cassidy and Republicans just passed the FY25 budget resolution which INCREASES spending and RAISES the deficit, all while protecting and extending giant tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, so he is an absolute liar when he says he is concerned about spending and taking steps to fix that problem.
