During the Obama Admin the Cons used extortion to force concessions. They said "We'll nuke the federal gov't and the entire world economy by forcing default on U.S. Treasury debt by not raising the debt ceiling unless you do what we want."

Obama caved and looked like an idiot. He gave in to extortionists.
