I had one of the weirdest dreams of my life last night. I was on an adventure in an area reminiscent of the northeast side of Columbus, specifically around Rt 161 between Cleveland Ave & Busch Blvd. It wasn't exact as it was a dream but, from what I could remember in it, that's what it generally reminded me of. It was like I was in one of those straight-to-video young to mid adult comedy B-movies I like to watch on Tubi and Pluto and the like. Unfortunately, there was no romance aspect, but I was on the go in this adventure comedy movie dream.
Even now, I can remember the timeline of how 5 specific events went down before I woke up. The first was the start of the dream. I won a canary yellow car...what kind it was, I couldn't remember, but I do remember the color (which will be important later) and was cruising around in it. The second was a conversation I was having with a girl reminiscent of Danielle Panabaker from the Flash TV show (like I said earlier, it was like a movie). We were talking about a group of people or multiple individual folks who I had somehow ticked off but didn't know how I did that and was either excluded from them or scorned big time. She wondered why I was acting like I didn't know why, but I did feel I wasn't acting and that I didn't really know what was going on. I noted that maybe they may have been mistaken in singling me out, like they accused the wrong guy. I then moved on to the third event where I had apparently lost track of the car I won and was looking for it. I ended up finding a parking lot with a whole bunch of yellow cars parked there. I couldn't find the car in that lot and I do remember getting upset about it.
Moving on to the fourth event, I was in some kind of rough pool hall kind of bar and ended up talking to some tough looking guy. I thought I was in trouble for a bit, but then he excitedly told me I won a new truck. However, the truck was not what I expected. It turned out to be a Ford F-150 modified into an overpowered ice cream truck, of all things. Why that, I have no clue, but I do remember heading back to where most of the dream was taking place at a somewhat high speed while someone I apparently knew in the context of the dream but can't recall now in the back was throwing ice cream out the serving window near the rear of the vehicle, likely at someone chasing us. Fast forward to the last event where I pulled into a fast food joint that was apparently in the location of a Burger King on Rt 161 there in Columbus, though it definitely wasn't a BK. Anyway, I walk in and talk to Leslie Nielsen (I know he passed away, but this is a dream) behind the service counter complaining about the drive thru speaker. Kevin Hart, a customer, wondered how the situation could be fixed. Just as in a movie, the next moment the scene cut away to me outside the restaurant being apparently proud of myself for some solution I came up with that involved replacing the speaker with a cell phone and people walking through the drive thru instead of driving. I woke up right after that.
As you all can possibly tell, this was a strong dream. It was one of the very few where not only do I remember specific events in any detail but an actual chronological timeline of them in a single dream. I'm not all that much for dream interpretation but the only event that I felt like I could relate to or actually have any basis for stuff related to either my past or my fears is the second event. I've had this paranoia throughout my life like either I was being singled out to be left out of something or I get blamed for things I had nothing to do with. Stuff like that has happened to me in the past, being blamed and especially being specifically left out of stuff, so the paranoia and the uncertainty associated with it is somewhat justified and in the back of my mind when anything troubling comes along in social situations. It seems to be a factor in my hesitance in being social at times. In any case, it was the only part of my dream I could directly relate to anything about me. The rest of the dream was more like a roller coaster ride a lot of comedy B-movies go through. I don't know if I will ever have a dream like that ever again that I remember in such detail. What might be weirder is if in some way that kind of adventure happened to me in real life. More stuff for my DJ in Real Life show, I guess.
On that note, I bid you all adieu. Thank you for reading. I hope to see you again real soon. Until next time, folks, this is ya boy DJ sayin' take care, God bless, and I...am...outta here. Goodbye, everybody.
