Früher Abend am Strand.

Early evening on the beach.

Die Sonne geht unter und färbt den Himmel in ein leichtes Orange und Lila. Sonnenstrahlen brechen durch die Wolken. Wir stehen am Strand, vor uns eine niedrige Barriere aus Holzbalken, die verhindern soll, dass der Sand weggeweht wird. Wir blicken über die Barriere auf die wogende See; weder Menschen noch Schiffe sind zu sehen. Hier und da wächst ein wenig Gras im Sand.

The sun is setting, tinting the sky a light orange and purple, with rays of sunlight peeking through the clouds. We're standing on the beach, and in front of us is a low barrier made of wooden beams, designed to keep the sand from blowing away. We look over the barrier at the rolling sea; there are no people or ships. A little grass grows here and there in the sand.

Ein Kormoran ruht auf einem Felsen an einem felsigen Meeresufer.

Das Bild zeigt einen einzelnen Kormoran, der auf einem dunklen, rauen Felsen sitzt. Der Vogel ist hauptsächlich schwarz gefärbt und hat einen kleinen, gelben Fleck an seinem Schnabelansatz.
